I've used the same SCSI cables on PC's, Macs, and my IIgs.  I'm surprized to
hear that you had a problem. Was it a 25 to 50 pin, or 25 to 25 pin type?
If 25 to 25 pin, there are many types of those, you could have had a serial
or parallel cable instead of a SCSI.

You can make them with your Classic II. Download the disk images from Apple
and use Diskcopy (I think 4.2 is best) to copy the images to 800K diskettes.
