Yes I agree with you on that. However the matter I was referring to was the
comparison of a slinky card and a RamWorks card. A previous poster mentioned
he thought an advantage of the RamWorks over a slinky card was that it uses
less slots. The contention of the poster was that a RamWorks uses 2 slots on a
PAL IIe.
What I meant was that almost all IIes have a card in the Auxiliary slot  so on the

PAL IIe slot 3 is blocked whether you're using an Apple 80 column card or a
RamWorks. So you'd still be saving a slot since a slinky card would still have to
go in one of the other 6 slots.
In my IIe I ran out of slots a long time ago so I wired some more slots in
parrallel
with slot 2. In this case slot 2 holds a TransWarp,Timemaster II and a Echo II.
