When I got a IIgs it was purely to use it as a super //e.  Faster, more 
memory, easier expandibility, etc.  It excels at this use.

It's really underpowered when used with native (ie, GSOS software).  Too 
slow, too low res, kinda ugly GUI.  It was designed as a really poor 
man's Mac.

The IIgs emulator Bernie to the Rescue is much more useable than a real 
IIgs, IMO.
