I'm just in the process of looking for a mint //e platinum so that I
can go 'retro' to the days when computing wasn't all about money.

I'm sorry to see so many people posted negative stuff about your site.
That really bothers me. I have been heavily involved in e-commerce for
the past several years and have decided to go back to Apple II's as my
computer hobby. 

One of the big reasons why I left the e-commerce scene was due to the
incredible selfishness of the industry all the way around. I looked
back to when I really enjoyed computing and came up with the time I
spent with the Apple ii's. I want to try and get back there again.

I rmember all the helpful people and the great stories about Jobs &
Wozniak. People who actually cared and spent time autographing
computers and going to schools, meeting people etc. It never seemed to
me to be all about money back than. It seemed to me that money was a
by-product - unlike today.

It saddens me to see that the same accusations/slander/greed motives
are present in the Internet's Apple II arena. You would think that
with declining interest numbers - people would be able to help each
other and be encouraging rather than tearing down someone's efforts.

You know what? Your site will be an enormous help to me in
re-obtaining an Apple and using it. I've forgotten most everything and
need a place to find the basics and more. Thank YOU!!!

BTW, I still am looking for a mint platinum //e. If anyone can help,
I'd love to hear from you!!
