     The original claim was that "a lot of developers" had some big deal problem with
Tom. Since the Arachnid developer and both ethernet card developers seem to have no
such problem, you have just supported the observation that most active developers are
pretty well focused upon their projects and not involved in some vendetta.

     Well, there is the work on Arachnid, ethernet card development, some edu games
dealing with space, a clever stack-based adventure, improvements to a BBS system, a
"ProDosifier" util to help with file transfers, a IIgs D&D adventure, an ADT version
for non-SSC interfaces, improved Apple II emulators, ... and bunches more. If you
really want a listing of my own relatively recent stuff, it can be supplied.

     Just one? Okay; me. I believe that free distribution of old, out-of-print
commercial software with or without official verifiable permission is a good thing.
Evidently, Henrik (a Bernie IIgs emulator developer) feels the same. His site is
still telling users how to grom the IIgs ROM code-- all without verifiable permission
from Apple. As for other developers, I have not asked. Most seem to have good
relations with the various archives.

     If the old A2 Delphi forum can do something useful before it goes down the
drain, fine.
