The Apple Enhanced //e has different ROMs and a CPU from the unenhanced
version.

Chip Unenhanced Enhanced

CPU 6502 65C02
CD ROM 341-0135 341-0304
EF ROM 341-0134 341-0303
VIDEO 341-0133 341-0265

If you see a motherboard with only 2 RAM chips, instead of 8, it's enhanced.
Not sure what applies to the PAL //e, so you'se on your own.

Back in the olden days I use to sell a kit that I copied the Unenhanced ROMS
into the lower half of an EPROM, and the Enhanced into the upper half. Add a
toggle switch and some wire, and I could toggle back and forth between the 2
ROM sets. Good for back in the day when not all software was compatible with
the new ROMs.
