Sorry, Beverly. There is little development for the Apple II because it's an
obsolete platform with an imploding user base.   Blaming piracy for this is
silly. It's economics, as can be seen with the problem of getting developers
to write for anything other than the Wintel platform.  If you're thinking
developers would be selling millions of copies of their Apple II software
"if it weren't for piracy", you're nuts.

As I've said before, I believe this anti-piracy mania contributed to the
demise of the Apple II.   It was so much easier to use a PC with it's
non-copy protected programs on hard disk than fool around with a bunch of
slow, copy protected floppies.

There is massive piracy of Wintel software, yet the platform and software
developers thrive.  Your premise is laughable.
