Claris Works Problem

In Claris Works--

I cant save a document as text anymore. When I ask it to save a doc as
text, it says "file not found". I also get this message when I try to open
a document saved from either a newsgroup or email. Claris is 2.1(?)

A month or so ago, I lost the system folder-the computer (IIci) wouldn't
start so I overlaid a "copy" from a zip-disk. The computer works again,
but there is this one (that I've noticed so far) problem.

There doesn't seem to be anything missing in the Claris folder, but is it
possible something got munged?

I'm in SF Bay area so if there is a better group to ask, I'd appreciate
knowing that as well.

And, as long as I'm here. Is there a ref book that would let me check all
of the folders and documents and find out what I still need and what is
trash? For instance, when I restarted and was checking out folders and
such, I found saved attachments (from email) and the like when I thought I
had trashed them-ditto for old faxes. There are a lot of folders, docs and
the like that are taking up space and I'd like to identify and get rid of
the ones I don't need.

Any other places to ask for help?
