Honestly? What I'd like to see is ProDOS expanded to a full SOS level. As
Apple wrote in the ProDOS Programmers Workbench, ProDOS is a subset of SOS.

But, there is another project that would also be interesting, and that is an 8
bit version of unix. I've noticed that there is such for the Commodore 64,
and, of course, the CoCo had OS/9, so why can't the II have a unix?
