     As I recall, you find some records of an 1800's inventor and end up in
his tunnel exploration machine named "The Eidolon". You pilot the craft
through a pretty realistic maze of caves zapping monsters and looking for
various kinds of crystals which enhance different Eidolon features.

     The game was a little slow last time I played (on our 1MHz II+).  Need
to give it a try on the accelerated IIgs!
