anyone know symptoms of a dead scsi card :(

I've been farting around with an apple high speed scsi card for a
couple of days now, and nothing, absolutely nothing has helped this
card come to life.  Trm power mod didn't help, ID's OK, terminators
OK, drives OK, cords OK, GS OK. Scsi card csrd dead one suspects :(

Anyone know the symptoms(?), the card seems to try all the scsi ID's
at boot time, assuming thats what the long delay is when slots set to
scan...???
