i've been running one off my wg/mbbs system since 1994...if you run
worldgroup bbs on a ms
dos machine (see ebay there are some there for
cheap) you can run them off telnet or dialout program
I have 2 apple // gs bbs pkgs telnetable off my www.lost-gonzo.com
website...they are currently
down for the next couple weeks along with my 2
seperate ms-dos game/door machines in that
i just moved..but i'll get them back connected soon.
they are on 1 gs fv/metal 4.0xev bbs pkg ..this is
a freeware pkg ..i also have on the 2nd gs tpro 4.2f modified RPG game
bbs..which is essentially a
role playing game (large) with bbs features added
2 ways to get them on telnet was the dialout pkg addon by gcomm major
bbs/worldgroup i run as
a web server bbs pkg or
i also found 2 serial door connection programs that
allow dial out (phone) to a 2nd bbs under your
current bbs/telnet sy
