	Not only are you behind the times you are posting in the wrong area.
You want a Mac newsgroup rather than an Apple// newsgroup. The
comp.sys.mac.* and comp.mac.* hierarchies would be a better place.

	As for your problems... Try removing any Microsoft applications.
