You misread my post. I said it has no 'user accessible' annunciators. I
didn't say there weren't any, only that they can't be accessed by user
software. I'm quite sure the hardware has the means to deal with this.
BTW, this comes straight from the 2c technical manual and my experience
with testing this fact.

I'm sure there could be another mode just as it is possible to put text
in various areas of the lores screen. My understanding of this is based
on Apple Inc info and others.

BTW, I'm not being sarcastic, I remember reading a technique for putting
text on a lores screen.
