Q: RF conversion
I was wondering if there was any *known* way to alter the RF composite
signal that the II produces to make it create a "cleaner" image on the TV.
Back in the day when the system was built, it was entirely uncommon to have
TV's with bandwiths above 14MHz. Considering that TV's can now easily
support 640x480 "clean" from VGA cards with TV output, I'm left to wonder
how to make the 560x192 matrix that the II uses display cleanly on the TV.
Did anyone ever build a device to accomplish this? Can I build my own? Would
a RCA->Coax RF converter accomplish this, or is it a different kind of
problem?
