I think the point most old hardware hackers like myself value is not to
achieve the objective the easiest way possible but rather to achieve
the objective exactly the way you originally thought about it. If it's
electronically possible to connect a UniDisk 5.25" drive to a Macintosh
Plus, I'd find it not only worthwhile but also an intellectual
challenge to write a driver to support it, even though 50 people are
just waiting with anticipation to tell me about the 800k drive solution

When we stop asking questions about how things work and are only
concerned about them working, that's when we start to loose the
creative process of developing unique solutions... Something to think
about! :)  And I think it's this philosophy that generated the 5.25"
question in the first place.
