Are the two ports really 25-pin? Mine is a 37-pin port. The drive is
actually a SASI drive, which I believe was a descendant of SCSI.
Someone earlier mentioned that the drive itself inside is actually an
MFM drive. I took a look inside and it could very well be.

What you need are two things: the cable and a terminator. I posted the
pin-outs last week, but like a bone-head, I didn't save them. Someone
must have archived them and hopefully it can be re-posted.
