@Antony, thanks! I've got some reading to do now.

@Mitchell, the self test was the first thing I did. Doesn't work now. Before it completely failed, I was able to run it and got a "System OK" result, so I'm not sure it is a bad RAM chip. Did the seat the chips trick, too. I think a component on the motherboard has failed and need to read some diagnostic manuals.
