	I could quote from a hundred posts but I'll just have the general
gist and my replies...

	You want Sci-Fi on the evil of marketing and advertising?  The
Space Merchants.

	In Clinton, NJ taking a picture of the historic grain mill is
illegal because that "scene" of the mill on the river is copyrighted and
trademark, and yes they do rush out and chase you away, demand the
film....

	Joe Blow goes out walking one day and he passes a trash can with a
recycling can next to it.  As he's waiting for the light to change he
notices that the trash can is filled with glass bottles, aluminum cans,
and plastic bottles.  Clearly things that should be in the recycling bin.
He ponders whether or not he should remove those recyclables and place
them in the proper container, as would be a good thing for the
environment, etc, etc.  BUT!  Thank goodness he realizes that it would be
ILLEGAL to do so!  He would be STEALING from the livelihood of the garbage
men! (Yes there are laws from taking garbage.)  Although it would most
likely be better in the long run, Joe sadly lets the garbage go, instead
of having it be reused and recycled.
