Help with Applesoft BASIC

Hi.

I was wondering, in Applesoft BASIC, if more than one argument can be
passed
to a DEF FN custom function.  Specifically, I want to do this sort of
thing---

HGR
DEF FN XTRANS (X, XN, XX) = [function code using all three variables]

.
.
.

HPLOT XTRANS(0, -10, 10), 0

I could work around it using a GOSUB ... RETURN , but that could get
sloppy.

Any ideas?  Nothing like this is covered in any books I have...
