Stagger the dates of K-Fest!

                  STAGGER THE DATES OF K-FEST!
                  ============================

	K-FEST is held always at the same time each year.  For college
teachers like me, there is a dilemma: I cannot afford the fees without
summer teaching, but if I teach summer school, I can attend only Friday
and Saturday!  I did attend K-Fest 1996, and it was excellent.

	SUGGESTION: On alternate years, hold K-Fest in the FIRST WEEK OF
AUGUST.  Summer courses at all colleges are finished by them.  Attendance
will skyrocket (Buggie will attend with all his female interns ;-)  and
many who are locked out will attend for the first time!  I've whined in
the past about the cost of K-Fest, but the cost would be just fine if held
in early August so that I could be there from start to finish.

	Could this be tried at least once??   Thanks.   Steve Buggie
