good hd for Apple IIE?

Hi group, I've been away from this group for a while, had my old IIE put
away.  I'm always looking for ways to upgrade it, and an hd that I can use
with both dos 3.3 and prodos would be great.  I know about the old sider
drives, saw one in the early 80's, and I've heard of using syquest 44 or
88mb drives, but have never seen one of these.  I may get my hands on a IIGS
at some point, but right now the old IIE is all I have, so I would greatly
welcome opinions on the best type of hd to get, both in terms of ease of
use/installation and economics.  This old apple is just a hobby needless to
say, and I don't have a bunch of money to sink into it.
