Need the amps on a laser 128 power adapter?

I just got a Laser 128. But it did not come with the power chord. I have the
user manual which says it will operate on 13vdc to 18.7 vdc.

Radio shack told me they need to know  the amps to get the right adapter.
Does anyone know what the amps are on the power chord?

I am wondering, since it is similar to the apple 2 and uses the same software
could the power adapter be the same?

Also, would anyone know where I can get a power adapter besides Radio Shack?
