You could also have installed a Samba server on Linux and found a Mac
Samba client.

Probably. Depends on how the software works.

TCP/IP. Apart from what's there I have no idea. This is an Apple//
group not a Mac group. You want a Mac group for more Mac information.

The Printers control panel will allow you to set up for a network
printer. I think the same thing is true of the Apple IIGS.

The Samba documentation is great. FYI Samba allows various NT clients
to think a Linux machine is an NT server. The majority opinion is this
set up is far more stable and secure than actual NT.
