What sort of G3? Is it one of the later B&W ones without localtalk?
If you have localtalk that's the easiest way. If you have a non
localtalk machine, you can do what I do with my iMac, use an older Mac
with ethernet to run localtalk bridge (a free download from Apple), and
then you can still network to it. Once you have it set up it's dead easy.
