Classic Computer/Video Game Garage Sale?
I've decided that there are plenty of people who are creating very nice old
computer museums and that I'll probably never have the time, drive, or
resources to do the same.
I plan on keeping 2 or 3 old systems that I'm really fond of but I'd like to
get rid of the rest of my stuff. However, I'd like it to go to a good home
so I'm wondering if [during my garage sale of other stuff] I were to put out
my classic computers and video games for very reasonable prices if I'd
attract any kind of a crowd?
I live in Crystal Lake, Illinois (Northern Illinois).
I dont plan on selling the stuff for collectors prices. All I'm really
looking for is to get back what I paid for the stuff and I rarely ever paid
more than $10 for anything.
A friend will have some Atari, Intellivision, Odessy, Colecovision games and
other miscelleny out as well, I don't know what he'll be asking but he's
reasonable and typically agrees with me regarding prices for things.
Here's a list of stuff that I'll have out:
Commodore 64 and Vic 20 hardware and software
Atari 8-bit hardware and software
Apple IIe/c Hardware
TI-99 stuff (a couple of systems are really nice and in the box
I have a TRS-80 Model 4 (I think)
Timex Synclair
Some old HP system
95% of it works.
Any interest??
I'd welcome an offer to take the whole lot as well.
