Well, I'd give it a try. However, I've been fooling around with a IIe card
in an LCIII and a Color Classic. I can't remember if it was while making an
HFS partition on a IIgs drive, or the ProDos partition on a Mac drive, but
the partition software asked me if I wanted to be able to access the ProDos
partion from a Mac.
I believe I also tried just connecting one of my ProDos external SCSI drives
to one of the Macs, and it didn't mount the drive. I could see it with SCSI
Probe and the Mac's formatter, though. Partitioning a drive with the Mac
software, making a large primary ProDos partion and a small HFS partition,
both could be accessed by the Mac or the IIgs.
So I think the answer is "maybe", since it seems the Mac can't always access
a ProDos drive.
