Vulcan Gold //GS Help

I've got a few Vulcans here, and I'd like to get them working.
One of the ROMs is a 1.3GS 40M, another is a 1.4GS 40M, and the third
is a v2.0GS.

The first two (1.3GS 40M and 1.4GS 40M) work fine with the vulcan
utilities I have (part.manager, park.heads and interleaver).

When I use the one withe the v2.0GS ROM, it doesn't detect the HD
until I change from using the Vulcan.Driver to the VulcanGold.Driver.
This leads me to believe that the v2.0GS ROM is a VulcanGold ROM.

However, the part.manager, park.heads and interleaver programs each
say that they can find NO vulcan in any slot, when I run them.
The HD shows up fine in GS/OS.

Did the gold version come with updated utilities?

Can anyone help me out?
