Re: Modern A2 successor
Just like to say that I know many of us really appreciate your ideas
and whether they come to fruition or not, the joy is in the planning,
ideas, positive discussion and anticipation :-)
One thing I havent seen talked about in this thread (sorry if i missed
it) is the actual casing for your new machine. What's great to me is
your devotion to the apple ][ and i always found that it was the look
and feel of the a2 that is so important. Its like playing some old game
you played in the 80's on a PC or Mac now on an emulator just doesnt
have the same feel. Sit down at your ][e and its as good now as it was
then. I just hope you'll try and keep the look and feel of it the same,
rather than just put it in a pc case. I'll be more than happy to help
you with the design and/or making of the case and im sure there are
many more on the group that will be happy to help too.
