     Since your IIe works okay, you may be able to save your data files as
Text and send the files one by one as ASCII (Text) to your PC via a NULL
modem connection. (For lots of Text files, it's easier to place the files
into a single ShrinkIt archive file and send the file as plain binary under
Z-modem. Then, use NuLib on the PC to extract the Text files in PC format.)

     If you need to send plain binary files-- e.g. blocks of bytes-- those
can be handled even more easily. You could send the whole batch of files
under Z-modem with no need for using ShrinkIt.

     In either case, renaming the files as necessary to comply with Windows
conventions before sending them is a good idea. For example, file names
should have just one period. Text file names should use the ".txt" suffix.
Binary file names should end with ".bin".

explain what sort of files you want to transfer and what you want to do with
