Hello, I searched a bit and have been unable to find a definitive answer. With the Microsoft Softcard and clones I can access 6502 routines and exchange data. This is well documented in the Microsoft Softcard documentation. So far I have been unable to find the same for the Applicard. For example if I want to read the time from my Thunderclock plus card I can do the following with a MS Softcard/clone:

How can I do the same with the Applicard?
The Applicard Z80 and 6502 API is thoroughly documented - to a degree that embarrasses what's available for the Softcard. The OEM manual is available "on the web" (ping me privately if you're unable to find it). There's also a development package with cross-assembler and linker. The dynamic driver loading scheme is very well thought out and flexible. Wink Saville's work on this is exemplary and still a joy to work with after 30 years!
Since DRI CP/M 2.x has no notion of datestamping or time-of-day, clock drivers weren't part of the base operating system. But, if you configure my PCPI/ProDOS environment and install the appropriate driver, you'll have access to time services from any clock recognized by ProDOS itself. Under ZSDOS or ZDDOS (which support timestamping for files) this is very handy.
