You can use an HFS-formatted Zip disk to transfer files between
computers. Ideas for doing this are presented in more detail in the FAQs at

When you have the files on an HFS disk in your IIgs Zip drive, you can
transfer them to ProDOS diskettes, a ProDOS /RAM5 RAM disk, or ProDOS hard
disk partition.
Eventually, you should end up with diskettes which can install System
6.0.1 on the first partition (ProDOS) of a Zip disk. Zip disks work fine for
booting GS System 6.0.1.
