Re: Vogons vs Turlettes

Kelli, there's a lot more to it than 8-year old sofware and somebody's
pre-release. Commercial software has been uploaded to the web while it was
still being sold. Even hobbyist programmers found their personal work uploaded
to the web as a result of a sold hard drive or a good faith act of sharing.
They only found out about it when somebody stumbled across it and notified
them. At the time it was uploaded, it was someone else's property.

On the other hand, disrupting this bulletin board, CSA2, and pirating my mail
board, A2MG, isn't very attractive behavior either.

If you need system software, the best source is Mike Westerfield,
MikeW50@aol.com, who is authorized by Apple. By "GSWorks" do you mean
AppleWorks GS? Original disks are frequently sold on E-Bay. I sold one set
about 2 weeks ago in a private sale. I have another AWGS still sealed in shrink
wrap, but am not quite ready to part with it yet. AWGS comes with the GS system
software it needs. "Classic" AppleWorks for the //e, //c, and IIGS does too
(ProDos). Most Apple II software comes this way (system + program). Good luck.
It shouldn't be too difficult to find the legal software you need.
