The ROM chip has (c) 1994 ver. RF3.01-EZ printed on the label.  Hmmnnn.
Maybe there is just something wrong with it. The pc board has a date code of
the 46th week of '93, so it had to be assembled after that, and that's after
the ROM 3 came out.
Well, maybe I'll wait until I pick up a third IIgs ROM 3 and see if it works
with that.
