ProTerm should be able to drive that board. I had that modem (it
might've been the 1200A (dunno about A-2)) in an Apple IIe and also used
it in a Laser 128 (in the card cage) and in a IIgs. Normally it sits in
slot 2, and if you type "PR#2" or "IN#2" it should take you to a REALLY
basic terminal emulator that's stored in the firmware of the modem
itself. Interesting.
It is the first modem I ever owned. I mailordered it and received
it sometime in May of 1986, I recall. Wow...really takes me back to
think about it. (I had just turned 14 -- I believe it was a birthday
item ---- wow...I just turned 28 here recently ---- scary...)
