I also use ProType on my Mac to set the correct type for an Apple II
files. But when I open the files in Shrinkit, sometimes I get a forked file
inside the Shrinkit file, which Shrinkit won't decompress.
I use ProDos 8 & Shrinkit, and have tried it on an enhanced Apple
IIe and
an Apple IIgs (ROM 01). Neither of them work on the forked files inside the
Shrinkit file.
From reading all the messages, I think that I may have to get System
5 or
later for the IIgs. Any comments on this?
