Mastery Development is a computer firm that just recently (2-3 months ago)
stopped supporting the Apple II. Besides their own software, they sold their
own networking system. It was a good deal to try: you supply the Apple IIs
and they'd mail you all of the networking system, right down to the cables and
programs on the server, for a two-week trial and they'd pay for the shipping
there and back again! Shortly after Global School Net shut down their
text-only email system, Mastery Development must have had a harder time selling
their own system, since the automated censor in the email system that was set
up for schools only was a major feature of the system.
Mastery Development still supports it's IBM product line and they told me that
they would still accept faxed orders for their Apple II products, but they only
answered one of my faxes. I have their new name and such at school. I'll pick
it up ASAP.
