Apple II LocalTalk Card
Hello,
I have recently acquired, among other things, an Apple II LocalTalk Card
on eBay. As of yet, I have only seen side views of this card. I know
that the plastic connector hanging off of it on two ribbon cables has
two connectors on it, but are they the 3-pin LocalTalk type connectors,
or 8-pin connectors to put your own adaptor onto? The rest of my
network if PhoneNet, so I'll have to do some planning if this will force
me to have a segment with original Apple wiring. Also, I know that this
card will allow me to boot my IIe from my AppleShare 2.0 file server,
but I have very limited experience with ProDOS. I've used DOS 3.3 much
more. This may seem incredibly stupid to ask, but how do you start a
ProDOS program? It obviously isn't the LOAD and RUN from DOS 3.3....
Thanks!
