Hello all,
I've been lurking in this newsgroup for a few days trying to find a
way to make a bootable Apple //gs System Disk so I can run GSOS 6.0.1.
So far I have been able to locate, download, and make the System Disks
with my old Mac 7100 but when I try to boot the System Disks on the
Apple //gs I get this error, "Unable to load ProDOS" (All caps of
course). I'm stuck here.
The Apple //gs is a ROM 01 model with 512k in it and no hard drive. I
did not see much information in the FAQ's about AppleTalk. I see in
the control panel that the Apple //gs can boot off of Appletalk but I
need to know what I have to setup on the Macintosh Appletalk share for
the Apple //gs to be able to boot off it.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Raj Wurttemberg
