Re: The "user-developer gap" myth
There are at least two bald faces lies in that long self serving post.
1) Come on Bev, you were not going there to announce something. You never
share anything there, you never share anything here. I have no proof, but it
is so against your nature. You went because you heard about the thread with
your name on it. Or you went because you secretly go over there and lurk and
found your name spelled right.
2) The thread was not vicious or particularly defaming. Mostly it was "Bev is
a bit hard to get along with but she does do good work and we like what she
does." It was very nice. Very understated. And there were just a few posts.
If it went on for a month (I think that is too long) well it was about a post a
week. And people also discussed how we probably shouldnt say anything.
I asked the question (in retrospect Im sorry I did) because of some pretty
vicious things that Bev wrote in the last newsletter that I got. I wanted to
know what people had done on delphi that made her so mad. I found out
privately. Much of it was just like stuff she had earlier done on Genie. I
guess I should have asked privately.
I sent the renewal because I really did not think I did anything wrong. I got
a pretty vicious note from her in response. I typed up a response letter that
is still here in my hard drive. But I decided not to send it. What good would
it do?
