This is a serious problem.  As a general rule, I try to periodically go
through my shareware and update the contact information, and release updated
versions.

However, the last couple of years, I've gone a step farther -- I now use the
Kagi payment service for all my shareware.  This is a well-known and trusted
service that collects shareware fees (for a very small commission) and
forwards them to the author once a month.  This is great because it lets me
move around without affecting the address payments get sent to.  It's also
great because I can accept payments by credit card -- both online and by
snail mail.

I strongly urge all Apple II shareware authors to use Kagi, or a service
like it.  I recommend Kagi wholeheartedly.
