Actually, you *exclusively* need a Mac with a 1.44MB floppy drive, which
will read/write/format HFS, ProDos, and MSDOS diskettes.

Macs with 800K floppy drives, and lacking in a SWIM chip (early SE,
Original Mac II, Mac Plus, Mac XL) cannot read anything other than
Mac-formatted Double Density disks.
