HyperText Application - trying to remember

Can anyone remember back in the mid 80's (?)
I read a review in PCW (the biggest UK Mag) about a hypertext
application for the Apple. About the only detail (part from it's
hypertextness) that stuck in my mind was that it did it's
own disc formatting for you - so you could just stick in
an unformtted disc, and write data to it (after a delay!), which
was considerered cool.

I think it also had incremental search (a la Emacs), but I may be
confusing that aspect with something else.

Can anyone remember this better than me? Please?
