V40 processor on Apple II cards

My RC systems DoubleTalk card (speech output) has a V40 processor on
it.  It looks like it has two ROM chips, one for the Apple II $Cn00
space and probably the other holds V40 code.

I thought it was kinda funny that the PC TRANSPORTER has a V30 (or was
it 40??), and a speech card has the same processor on it.

It would be neat to modify the card to be a coprocessor.
