ProBasic is an excellent modification of Applesoft. The system
works by letting you create modules of Applesoft code. Least
used code could be stored in a disk module. It can easily
handle machine coded modules, normally created with Merlin
as a relocatable code. If you decide to try this, there are
two disk you should get. The second is full of useful modules
you can use for your programs. I find this an elegant method
in lieu of chaining basic programs.
