That was fast... was that somebody you?  It's inexpensive backup.  ;-)

Seriously, you should have a front or back page that identifies you as
the scanner source.  The whole co-opted watermark idea someone else
had was a little asinine, but it seems like a front/back matter page
would help establish in everyone's mind who to credit for the source.

P.s. the Franklin book looks and reads great on my iPad.  Thanks for
that. :-)
