This brings up an important point. I would like to either get standing
permission to reprint announcements from anyone that would like their
announcements to be reprinted on A2Central.com. Or, even better, I would
like people that make announcements that they want to appear on
A2Central.com (which, looking at my hit counter, is looking like a huge
success already -- thank you all!) to email pr@a2central.com with their
announcement. That way I know for certain that you would like for it to
appear.
I don't want to get A2Central.com into the middle of any disputes or
disagreements, and will do my best to avoid that. I will simply report news
events as I see them. The best way to do this is to receive news releases
from the source via email to pr@a2central.com.
However, if this is an inconvenience for anyone that might in the future
have a press announcement, you can simply let me know -- in email to
sheppy@a2central.com, so I can print it out and keep it on file here -- so
that I can reprint announcements I see elsewhere without risking stepping on
anyone's toes.
I know there are some unfortunate divisions among Apple II users. My
mission as editor of A2Central.com is to print the news of the community,
without bias. The best way to do that is with the support and help of the
community at large, and especially of people and organizations that are the
source of much of the news and important information.
Thank you all,
