II GS halts boot
I picked up another Apple II GS today. This one has some cards that I
need help in identifying.
1. This one simply says, "PC Transporter."
2. Applied Ingenuity ODCON P/N 8889, dated 1989. Has what appears to
be a serial port.
3. Small card in the #1 slot that has a connection to the analog
monitor port (a plug comes out from the card and plugs into the
original monitor port). Then, there's an additional monitor port
installed vertically above it.
4. A small card marked "RCA" with a headphone type jack.
When I try to boot the machine with a System 6.0.1 disk, it goes well
up to about 40% of the scale and then stops. The disk works in
another II GS.
I appreciate the expertise in this group. I hope I can get this
computer to work. The Apple memory expansion card that came with it
is full of chips!
Thanks,
Bill
