The card is a video capture card.  The 'audio level adj' pot and the
in/out ports have to do with saving and loading video snapshots (may
videos???) to/from some sort of tape.  I think it may be just cassette
tape, although I am not sure.  I never read the manual (I have it), so
I don't know why you would want to save to tape.  Maybe to save disk
space?  But why not just save through the cassette port?  Maybe the
tape save circuits on the board will do it faster than the cassette
port.
