I just acquired an ALS Z-Card Rev. 1 for my newly acquired IIe. I
placed the card in slot 4 and it works just fine. But I am unable to
determine the speed of the card. The CPU model number indicates its a
6MHz chip (Google search), however a benchmark indicate otherwise.
Unfortunately I do not have another 6MHz to compare it with. All I
have is Virtual ][ on my Mac and I am starting to ask myself how
accurate is emulated performance of memory intensive code?
There are 4 dip switches on the card as well.
The quickest way to solve this mystery would be to find the docs.
Thanks.
